    My addiction

Well, I'm addicted to music. I simply can't live a day without at least half an hour of pumping psy. When I feel screwed, I turn up the volume and I simply let go and dive into the music. Somehow that makes me feel better most of the time. Am I the only one with this addiction?
On really romantic evenings of self, I go salsa dancing with my confusion...

no you are not alone , im a big music buff ... cant go half of my day without listening ... i always have it playing on my PC , on my MP3 ... on my stereo in my room , in the car ...while working out , running , school ...its too bad for work but at least theres radio ... well when i used to work .

i guess its because i grew up listening to music since i was practically born . If i dont listen to my music for 1 day i feel really out of place ... i also listen to it sometimes when i go to sleep , i leave it on repeat and when i wake up its to the sweet sound of my music .
i also have music categorised on how im feeling but thats mostly decided in my head ... i even made cd's of rain ... helps me go to sleep .

music makes my mind think/recall of another time , a time when that song was playing , a moment , a feeling ... i can specifically remember all the songs i was listening to while dating each girl i went through and if i listen to them now , memories will come back like crazy . Music is the soundtrack to my life .

There's nothing like going for a nice, LOUD drive. I keep a variety in the car for different moods.

very true ... sometimes i just drive around smoking a nice cig and listening to some good music ... usually in summer time with the ladies all over the place and some friends in the back .

ps: no i dont honk at them or try to attract them like some losers do .

Oh no love! you’re not alone
You’re watching yourself but you’re too unfair
You got your head all tangled up but if I could only
    Make you care
Oh no love! you’re not alone
No matter what or who you’ve been
No matter when or where you’ve seen
All the knives seem to lacerate your brain
I’ve had my share, I’ll help you with the pain
    You’re not alone

Just turn on with me and you’re not alone
Let’s turn on with me and you’re not alone (wonderful)

i listen to music whenever i can. that's why i keep quoting songs all the time – no matter what people say or do, there's already a song been written about it. sometimes it only takes a word or phrase and a song will force it's way into my mind – as just has happened with your "am i the only one" – as soon as i read the words, i heard david bowie sing "oh no love, you're not alone!" inside my head, even though it's been a very long time since i last actually listened to the song.
but of course, it's not the words alone that make me listen to a song. it's also the rhythms, tunes, structures – whatever makes the "sound" of a song.

ye, well I listen to exclusively non-vocal stuff.....language simply can't compare to the kind of emotion sound can invoke....some tunes have voices sampled in them, which I can accept when it's used to complement the song, but overall a lot of texts are just way too out there or smthn. Saying something without words is an art I've come to appreciate more than good lyrics.

Nope, your not alone, I would die with out my electronica music. The beats, bass, synths, drums, beauty in rythem. I get chills when I listen to it and I have to at least once a day.
