Actually if you watch the whole video it is pretty sick. When they start using applications and window style interfaces I could definitely see the possibilities. Reminds me of that Tom Cruise movie Minority Report.

My only concern would be the effect it would have on your hands. Rubbing any surface with your fingers for more than a few minutes could start to mess up your sensation and potentially become painful. Not only that, but moving both of your entire arms and hands to do things constantly could get tiresome after a little while.

(Take into consideration that some people use computers 2-14 hours a day)

yes not to mention the amount of grease stains you would have on that screen and how many times you would have to keep it clean , especially if its used by the whole family/workplace . but the amount of things you could on that are crazy .

cybog , i though the same exact thing after seeing it , also the minority report thing . they already started making prototypes of some sort of machine that emulates smell
for example :you go on a perfume web site , well you would be able to smell it also ... or on a video game , you would be able to smell the things burning , shoot a car , gaz starts leaking ... you would smell it ... thus alarming you to move the heck out of there .
