It is.. but it isn't like your typical alien show/movie... it's way more focused on the "human" dramas...
It's about this divorced family. They live in this small Florida town, which is hit by a hurricane, we come to find out was NOT natural, but used to "cover" what was really happening.
So the night of the hurricane a lot of people disappear, and resurface a few days later. No one really pays much attention, but then these people start acting... different. One of them is the main characters ex-wife, and mother of his 2 children. Her new husband is the police sheriff... and ugh - it just gets so deep and so good...

I can Tell You about a TV show/series in Russia, It's cold something like "Undescribable but fact". I Love it , IT IS realy cool, It isn't a Sci-Fi , it's a documental series about stuff like cursed places like Bermudian triangle, snowman's, mass murderers ect.
