It's hard to say. All we can do is make an assumption the Do Do Bird is extinct forever but I was just reading 27 new species were discovered in California so it's not like it's an impossibility that the Do Do Bird might just be in temporary hiding.

LOL, this cracks me up. Yea I found out a couple people made several attempts to give the Do Do bird a heads up that he was soon going to be extinct, so either he just wanted to die off and let his species dissapear or he never understood what the people were telling him.
