I saw it last night, and my opinion for the movie is that the fighting in the movie was good, but it was to damn short.

I am glad that they expanded it, orignally it was only like 60ish mins, now it's more along the lines of 90-100mins.

I haven't seen the movie yet, but the friend of Cloud's you're referring to, are you talking about Zack? Looks similar to him but has black hair? He was in the game but the big cutscene showing him is an entirely optional part near the end so if you don't go to Gongaga before the Northern Crater (omg I can't believe I remember this so well) then you'll miss it.

wow , you actually remembered the names , i finished FF7 4 times in my life and last time was about 2 months ago and i already forgot the names of most places . the fastest i did was 26 hours (or something similar) to finish it including the 2 secret chars and the golden choco .

Yeah, I was amazed myself that I remembered all that. Last time I played it was over a year ago but I'm sure I played through it at least a dozen times since its release in 97. I generally took my sweet time getting all 8 characters to 99 (and sometimes Aeris too just for fun) and generally took me roughly 75-90 hours. One time I did it in 24 though, one sitting. THAT was fun.

I am looking forward to this Advent Children DVD. Hopefully it is good.
I remember back when it was supposed to come out in September I have like tons of people asking for it at work, and when I told they it was pushed back to November... ha ha. The look on their faces.
