I agree. However, the Tooth Fairy is indeed real. How do I know this? Well, I once put a tooth under my pillow, and low and behold, the next morning there was a toy where the tooth once was!Originally Posted by shh!

Yes.
Because I am one.
Of this forum.
I'd haunt you.
But I'm busy.
Monday I going to Salem Mass. for 4 nights...already have my tickets for the haunted footsteps tour...staying st the Hawthorne Hotel right on Salem Common....same place Elizabeth Montgomery stayed when they shot a few episodes of Bewitched in Salem...on the way back staying Friday and Saturday nights at the Chiller Theatre convention in Newark....Mini Dark Shadow reunion...Batman & Robin...Linda Blair...I know...I know...I'm a geek...but I have fun.
Has anyone been to Salem...I mean...I know all the places I want to go...but has anyone been and have an opinion about any of the places?

I've been to Salem! I liked the House of Seven Gables. (Nathaniel Hawthorne) THe witchcraft trial museum is cheesy but educational and kind of fun, especially if you take kids. Driving around is insane, though, as the roads are really just paved-over horse and buggy trails, without linear symmetry. (Does that make sense?)
I suggest you explore some of the areas around Salem - it is a great state, but Salem is really more of a day-trip kind of place, in my opinion.
Thanx...I'm really into the history of Salem. And I wouldn't say that I'm Wiccian by religon, but I am by my private lifestyle and I do alot with spiritualism...so the Witch museum...the display of documents that the Peabody Essex museum is supposed to have...combined with fun stuff like the Pirates museuem etc is really right up my alley...We may take a day trip over to Danvers...which was once Salem Villiage...which is where the trials actually occured...but we'll see how things go time wise...I'm just such a history geek...Originally Posted by shh!

I wanna go...
Both of my sisters lived there - one in Boxford and the other in Danvers (the historic area right at 11 Centre Street).
I like Boston, Plymouth, Lexington, Rockport and Gloucester...
