Hi. I'm new to the dating thing because I have been in a relationship all my life until a few months ago. My new "beau" told me tonight that relationships require work. I told him that there are many things that I am trying to work on right now but a relationship is not one of them. Then, I said, let's just be friends, I've already split up with the person I wanted to grow old with.
I have lots to learn as you can see, where's the best place to start?

RacyLacy - just hang out and check out some threads here. Do a search for whatever you have questions on - we've seen pretty much everything here, and there is actually really good advice dispersed throughout various threads, of course you'll have to get past all of our spam first.

Sorry, I didn't mean to be so jumpy. I had gone and started looking through the threads and got the impression that this was a place to flirt online, that's why I said that I might be in the wrong place. Maybe it was just the particular threads I saw. I'll take more time to look around now that I'm in a better mood! I guess I scare easily
