Well, we did it. Six months on Sunday.
Now my question for all of you is, what does six months mean to you? Still new, unimportant, doesn't matter, etc?

It aint important, in my opinion it doesn;t really matter.
Well its not new....but your still getting to know each other..... Congrats!
6 months may seem like a long time......but in a lifetime....its not long at all....
Appreciate the good times and learn from the bad times....
6 months doesn't mean that much except "half way there to making a year" good job.
I'm happy for you.
To me it says "holy crap we've been together for half a year?" Adds a bit more seriousness to it I suppose.
I didn't know if there were any more sentimental people out there.
To me it says, "the honeymoon is nearly over".
I remember my six months. Awh, seems so long ago. :-)
Any point in a relationship should be taken seriously. If not, then why have you wasted six months of your life, for nothing? No.. it's not exactly a huge amount of time together, but it's a starting point. We all need to start somewhere. Soon that six months will turn into a year. A year will become a year and a half. You understand where I'm getting at. I hope you two have a wonderful outcome. ;-)

Well, I would think of it as... 'It has been six months already?' Yeah, it does seem like a long time when you look back on it, but that's how time goes. Unlike distance, the distant past seems to move back so quickly while the recent past seems to drift by slowly.
I wouldn't think of it as any more special as any other day spent together (since I believe if you're with the right person, every day is special... maybe some more than others, but that is because of what happens, not because of the amount of time you've been together). Maybe as a milestone, though. It's like when you go on vacation. The vacation is like all the sweet memories and everything you remember (the actual connection and relationship) while the anniversaries (6 month, 1 year, etc.) are like the souvenirs you buy. Nothing special in themselves but they never fail to remind you of all the good times, all the memories.. and so, in that respect, it makes the souvenir itself special.
If a dream comes true... then is it still a dream?
