    Too pretty to approach

There is a girl that works at my mother’s bank that is so unbelievably pretty. I can’t even remember when the last time I’ve seen a girl that utterly pretty on TV or anywhere. At first site, I would love for her to be my girlfriend. Just looking at her makes me feel totally nervous and unworthy. I have no idea how to confidently approach a girl that pretty. What’s wrong with me?

Nothing is wrong with you. I'm not the best person to give advice on this, but I would give it a shot and go talk to her. I would tell her I think she's really pretty and would ask her if she wanted to have lunch with me and let her know it's not a big deal if she doesn't say yes.

There is no such thing as a woman who is "too pretty" to be approached.

True...plus, since she works at your mom's bank, you have a good reason to approach her. It could also be a good conversation starter.

When you can't approach someone, think about what you could be doing wrong to them by not approaching? Maybe like their not good enough to upset you. Remember she is human just like you, you are equally different. You notice her outer beauty, now give her a chance to show you her inner beauty. You have no reason to not approach someone, unless of course you are afraid of damaging your self image. That doesn't say much for someone.

Go talk to her. It's not hard. There's absolutely NO reason why a girl should make you feel unworthy. The real question is, "Is she going to be worthy enough for me to go out with?" She might be a real bitch, or boring as anything, or stupid as a brick in which case you get rid of her. Or if she turns out to be as nice as she is pretty, then you start to flirt and gain her interest.

But if you don't approach and talk to her . . . you'll never know and you'll just come back here again and again asking the same old questions. Go chat with her. It's kinda hard to do it if you only see her behind bullet-proof glass, but you're gonna have to find a way. Open an account or something, flirt a bit, then while she's laughing at your joke or comment, ask when she gets off and if she'd like to grab a cup of java.

The next question I want to see you post should go along the lines of, "Ok. So me and this girl were getting it pretty heavy last night (the one from the bank), but we were wondering what's the best form of birth control?"

    Or something like that . . .

Simple. Remember that if you don't, someone surely will.

    What’s wrong with me?
You are choosing a partner based exclusively on her external qualities, like you would choose furniture.

Not true Icequeen. Even I have to test the furniture out by sitting on it. Perhaps "china" would have been a better choice!

Clearly, the girl isn't "too pretty to approach" (no such thing), you're too inconfident. There's nothing wrong with you, you're just like 90% of the guys out there. However, you don't have to be. What you need to understand is that girls are just like you. They eat, sleep, worry, drink, and do everything else you do. What the real problem is is that you take this chick, who you've never known, and put her on this pedestal. Why do that? What's the point of adoring her like she's a god? You would love for her to be your girlfriend yet you've never spoken to her. You're nervous approaching, thats ok, I can get nervous too, all players can, but that doesn't stop me from approaching. Yet, somehow, you've decided that you are unworthy of her, this is ridiculous. What? You're not of the right "caste" to date her? If you're attracted, make a move. The only thing that would make me uncomfortable in this situation is that she's an employee of your mom's...

Ya that's a tuffy. She's not exactly my mom's employee because she works in a different department. She's a teller. My mom is a Senior FA. I still feel weird approaching her with my mom there. I don't even drive all the way down to that bank unless I have a brunch date with mom. Even if I did, I wouldn't know how to talk to her while she's working. I wouldn't even know how to ask my mom about her. If she's married or something, I'm going to be really upset. It's hard enough as it is to find a girl that pretty. Much less single at the same time.

The best thing I can think of is to go there in disguise so my mom doesn't notice me. Then, stand in line. If another teller calls me, I can let the person behind me skip until her window is open. Then, when I go up to her, I'll tell her that I came the other day to visit my mom. I saw how beautiful the teller was, so I decided to come back to meet her. Weird?
    Then what: "Let's go out?"

no.. what you do is this..

when you go in to the bank .. say hello to everyone .. include her but make her stand out by looking directly at her for longer then you do with everyone else. Make it look like your interested in her and then go meet your mom..

have a "presence" when you walk in. Make that should help break the ice so you can talk to her more.
