Has he lost interest?

Hi, the guy that I have been seeing for about a month and a half has suddenly stopped texting me and asking me to hang out.

We are both 18, seniors in high school, so we see eachother every day. In person nothing is wierd or awkward, but we don’t text anymore.

I have not initiated contact since he texted me about a week ago saying he was “sorry he hasn’t been paying me any attention recently” and that he has more shit going on his life than he has ever had. This is a true fact, and I understood and told him not to worry about it.

We are not an official nor exclusive couple and have only gone out a few times but we definitely click and the spark is there and we have a really great time together.

It’s been about 2 weeks since the last time we went out. I don’t know what to do. Is it possible he honestly has too much going on or has he lost interest?

What's wrong with you initiating contact? Look I get you don't want to look desperate but in crisis men appreciate a lady understanding him and giving some support or even a little distraction, say asking him to hang out.
