So I met this girl about 2 months ago, and we started liking each other and opening up to each other over the past month. She's opened up about her past dating history, and really her life in general. She has really tough skin because she had a difficult time growing up, and I really respect her. She is unique to all the other girls I've dated before.
I obviously really like her, and shes shown and told me she really likes me. We both have common interests and personalities, we've met each other's families, and we are steadily and naturally growing closer to each other. She told me I threw her off because I wasn't clingy and pushy like all her other exes. I have been very patient with her through everything, and she says she is extremely grateful, and likes me more and more every day.
I guess the problem, if there even is one, lies in the fact that I usually only get to see her once, MAYBE twice a week. 3 at the very best, but this almost never happens. We both go to university and have 30 hour+ jobs. The issue is she works early mornings and has the rest of the day off, and I work late afternoon until like 11. I do get 3 days off a week, and those are really the only days I can even spend with her, and that's assuming both me and her don't have other commitments on those days.
Once school starts up again our free time will be even less. Maybe this is normal in this part of life, and it affecting our relationship in person, but I really get down in the long periods of time between seeing her. I still go to the gym, have my own hobbies, and see my friends when I can, but she is almost always on my mind.
I mean everything is going great with us, it's just frustrating for me because she is basically free almost every single day after 3, but I go into my job at 2 and work until 11 or later. If I just had a job that worked early mornings and got off in the late afternoon that would be perfect. The timing of my jobs really only lets me do things with people in the early morning, or my 3 days off. It just seems I get really unlucky and she has plans like 2/3 of those free days I have.
Is this all normal? I don't think there is really anything I can do to open up my availability without getting an entire new job, mine doesn't have many, if any opportunities to work early mornings.
She also isn't a very big texter, which makes getting through the in between times even more difficult. Sometimes she is very enthusiastic and texts all day, and it really brightens up my day, but that's not how it always is.
